GBIM

It's time to think of Sustainability.

History

We began operations in 1997, first funded by Alameda County Source Reduction and Recycling Board Grant for design, implementation and operation of a “No 7” Plastics recycling facility. In addition to the mandate of the Grant, we also are the first company to execute a “closed loop” recycling program for many semiconductor manufacturers in the Bay Area. Closed loop processing is a highly cost saving program for every industrial process

In 2004, despite the low return value, we further adapted our facilities to process EPS and EPE packaging foams, providing an alternative to the local landfill.

In late 2008 we qualified under California's landmark legislation for electronics recycling as an official e-waste processing facility.
